After-Hours Helpline & Urgent Crisis Services
After normal business hours, including weekend and holidays, telephone crisis assessment, consultation, and support is available by contacting us at 574-631-7336. Our after-hours counseling service is staffed by licensed counselors who can provide immediate assistance by phone regarding a variety of issues that require on-the-spot help or consultation, and can facilitate transition to UCC daytime services. Members of the Notre Dame community who are urgently concerned about a Notre Dame student, may also call for consultation.
If you need immediate medical assistance, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
PLEASE NOTE: UCC crisis services are NOT available when the University is CLOSED during Christmas break.
If the student of concern is outside of the local Notre Dame area, using local or national crisis resources may be a more appropriate option.
