UCC Helpline 24/7: 574-631-TALK (8255)

All students, whether on campus or at home, can call the UCC helpline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to reach a counselor at 574-631-TALK.

The UCC Helpline is staffed by licensed counselors who can provide immediate assistance by phone regarding a variety of issues that require on-the-spot help, crisis intervention, consultation, and can facilitate transition to regular UCC daytime services. Members of the Notre Dame community who are urgently concerned about a Notre Dame student, may also call for consultation.

If you need immediate medical assistance, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

PLEASE NOTE: UCC crisis services are NOT available when the University is CLOSED during Christmas break.

If the student of concern is outside of the local Notre Dame area, using local or national crisis resources may be a more appropriate option.
