Group Counseling: Grief and Loss

- (part of a series)

Location: University Counseling Center

This group provides an opportunity for students who have experienced the death of someone important to them to talk about their experiences with grieving during college. This supportive space will allow students to connect and receive support from others who "get it." Each session will have a general theme, such as exploring the uniqueness of grief, secondary losses, mindfulness, and more. This group will utilize supportive discussion, poems, and other exercises and activities to facilitate deep reflection and exploration of each member's unique grief journey.

Group Leaders: Jordan Dolson Jonson, Ph.D. & Juan R. Pantoja-Patiño, M.S.
