Devin (she/her) is a Los Angeles, California Native who joined Notre Dame’s Health Services and Counseling Center as a Behavioral Health Clinical Case Manager in 2022. Devin is a Licensed Social Worker who attended Boise State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a major in Family Studies. Shortly thereafter in 2016, Devin attended the University of Southern California where she earned a Master’s degree in Social Work. After graduating from USC, Devin began her career in Social Work working in an array of settings from Child Welfare, Community Mental Health, Middle Schools, Domestic Violence Shelters, and Psychiatric Centers. In working in the various setting noted above Devin has been able to provide counseling services, crisis intervention, and mental health support for many different people with different identities and intersecting identities.

Devin’s therapeutic approach is authentic, supportive, non-judgmental, humorous, collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered. In using this approach Devin works diligently to create a safe and collaborative space where students feel heard and seen as they begin the journey of unpacking what’s led them to seek support.

Devin’s professional interests are included but not limited to Eating disorders, BIPOC, Crisis Intervention, Women’s Issues, Individual Counseling, Care Coordination, Relationship/Interpersonal challenges, and First-Generation Students. Devin enjoys cooking, working out, reading, and spending time/laughing with loved ones. Devin loves clothes and shoes and loves putting together an outfit for an event. Devin is proud to say she is no longer a “shopaholic” thanks to Jay Shetty’s book Think Like a Monk.
