The University Counseling Center offers a full-time, twelve-month Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology based on a generalist approach to the practice of psychology that is informed by empirical research. The program is designed to train interns in the core competencies expected of a psychologist working in the context of a university counseling center.

Doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Notre Dame participate in practicum placements at the University Counseling Center as part of their graduate training. These students are supervised by Licensed Psychologists on the senior staff at the UCC. Please refer to the Clinical Psychology Program website for more information.
