APA-Accredited Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology 

The University Counseling Center (UCC) offers a full-time, twelve-month Doctoral Internship In Health Service Psychology on a generalist approach to the practice of psychology that is informed by empirical research. The program is designed to train interns in the core competencies expected of a psychologist working in the context of a university counseling center. Practicum Training and Masters Internship Programs

Doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Notre Dame participate in practicum placements at the UCC as part of their graduate training. Additionally, the UCC accepts Masters level interns from local universities who are gaining clinical training at the UCC as part of their graduate programs. These graduate students’ clinical work is  supervised by Licensed Psychologists on the senior staff at the UCC. Please refer to the Clinical Psychology Program website for more information.
